Emma Chamberlain (she/her) is a Counsellor / Psychotherapist based in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes. Emma is experienced in successfully working with clients experiencing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, panic attacks, emotional distress, low self-esteem, relationship issues, work-related problems, grief, bereavement and loss, fear, anger, trauma, self-harm, bullying, and those struggling with life’s transitional times.

Emma has a research background, clinical and lived experience of working with a neurodivergent client group. She has a first degree in psychology and an MSc in Integrative Counselling. Before starting her private practice, Emma worked as a Counsellor for MIND – the UK’s leading charity offering advice and support for anyone experiencing a mental health problem. Emma also works as a counsellor for Hawkins Family Law, part of Stowe Family Law – the UK’s largest specialist family law firm.

Emma is a registered and accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and works to their ethical framework. Emma works from a humanistic relational perspective, which offers a flexible relationship-based approach to counselling / psychotherapy and can include CBT and a range of other approaches. Emma can also offer EMDR therapy. Emma is registered with BUPA, AXA, and the Private Practice Register, is DBS checked and has full liability insurance.
